PROJECT: Visual Identity and Logo Design for Branded Content Series

Summary: When I was at The Guardian News & Media, I led the visual identity development for Side Hustle, a branded video and editorial series sponsored by Squarespace. The content spotlighted creative and lucrative side gigs pursued by professionals outside of their 9-to-5s. The goal was to create a visual system that felt bold, flexible, and reflective of the entrepreneurial spirit at the heart of the series.

The final identity included a custom logo and cohesive branding elements used across video, editorial, and infographic touchpoints—designed to feel vibrant and accessible while still aligning with Squarespace’s premium aesthetic.

​Results: The logo and supporting identity helped establish a unified visual tone for the series, which was well received by both the sponsor and audience. The work contributed to high engagement across branded content platforms and was praised for its clarity, energy, and adaptability across formats.
